Terms of use & privacy

Using the site
- Anyone in the neighborhood can list a business, including teens doing odd jobs. Under 18? You confirm when you create the listing that a parent or guardian knows and is okay with it, and Stripe's own rules apply to bank payouts (the Zelle/Venmo/cash option needs no bank account).
- Every listing can hide its phone and email; neighbors then contact it through a message form on the site.
- Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for honoring the prices and coupons they post, and for complying with any local rules that apply to their work.
- We may remove a listing that is misleading, unsafe, off-topic for the neighborhood, or receives repeated complaints.
- Listing fees are billed monthly through Stripe and can be canceled anytime; the current period is not refunded.
Privacy
- When you book, we collect your name, email, phone, service address and notes and pass them to the business you booked so they can do the work. We do not sell this information.
- To enforce one-coupon-per-household we store a one-way hash of your address and email alongside the coupon code.
- Card numbers never touch our server; they are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout page. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- We use a single login cookie and no advertising trackers.
- Email [email protected] to have your account or booking history deleted.
